Momos!!

Hey guys! Welcome to my new blog. Hope you all are staying positive and testing negative. Just kidding. Haha!!😁

 Here I am with a new recipe for you all. Today's recipe is a very common but my favourite dish. It's momos. Who doesn't love them? I am sure almost all of you like to munch upon them. Momos are our anytime and everytime snack partner. Those white dumpling, with savoury filling, dipped in red chutney just look so tempting and tastes heavenly. I enjoy having them so much and so do you ( if i am right to guess!!).

Here is the recipe for you all to give a try. Let's get started.

Ingredients: 
For stuffing
• Oil 
• Garlic, finely chopped 
• Chilli, finely chopped
• Spring onion
• Carrot, grated
• Cabbage, shredded
• Pepper, crushed
• Salt

For dough
• 1.5 cup all purpose flour
• 0.5 tsp salt
• Water for kneading
• Oil for greasing

Method
> Firstly, prepare stuffing by heating 3 teaspoon oil and saute 3 clove garlic 1 inch ginger and 2 Chilli
> Also, add two tbsp spring onion and saute on high flame
> Further, add 1 cup carrot and 2 Cup cabbage 
> Now add add half teaspoon pepper and half teaspoon salt
> Additionally, 2 teaspoon spring onion and stuffing mixture is ready
> Further, pinch a small ball sized momo dough and flatten. Dust some all purpose flour and roll
> Roll to almost medium thin circle. Make sure you roll from sides and keep the centre a little thick 
> Now place the stuffing in the centre
> Start pleating the edges slowly and gather everything pressing in the middle and sealing the centre
> Heat a steamer and arrange the momos in the tray without touching each other
> Steam momos for 10-12 minutes
> Finally, veg momos recipe is ready to enjoy with red chutney

Munching upon the Cuisines of Sikkim

Foodies just can't resist the urge to search for new recipes. So, here I am with my first blog sharing new casserole idea with you all.  I will be covering the food and cuisines of Sikkim since the Sikkimese food is a rich mixture of Nepalese, Tibetan and native food of Sikkim. Raksi- a Heaven

Hey guys! Welcome to my new blog. Hope you all are doing fine.  Today, i will be telling about a Sikkimese beverage. Unfortunately, this is only for bibulous people. Sorry my sober friends!  The name of the beverage which I am talking about is Raksi or Rakshi, a nepali term for a traditional distilled alcoholic beverage in Sikkim. Raksi is a home made drink which is quite strong. It is made from millet or rice, both give a differ]ent flavour to it. While drinking Raksi, you will get a strong smell on the nose while giving a burning sensation down your throat that resolves itself into a surprisingly smooth sensation.  People drink this home brew to celebrate festivals, though some think that the prized drink itself is the reason to celebrate.
